Grange Co-op makes $50,000 donation

PHOENIX, Ore. — Grange Co-op presented a $50,000 check toward fire relief today.

It began raising funds for the Phoenix-Talent Fire Relief Fund in late September.

As part of their ‘Grange Gives Campaign’, the Co-op pledged to match up to $25,000 raised by customers.

Last week, their customers raised nearly $20,000.

Grange Co-op decided to contribute the remaining amount, to reach it’s overall goal of $50,000.

According to the Co-op, “the staff here at the district office, they are going to get it into the hands of our community members who really are in need of that money.”

Grange Co-op says the money will go directly to families devastated by the fires.
