Horse of the Month

If you’re looking for a horse, consider adopting ‘Little Red’ – a young lady that’s looking for a home…

“She’s a yearling, she’s loveable” Notes Donna Miller, a volunteer with the Klamath Large Animal Division. “She loves to be around people.”

Caretaker Dawn Keen notes that Little Red and her mother were rescued by the shelter last summer…

“Little Red came in here in July. She was very thin, weak.”

Keen points out that Little Red has made a lot of progress since then…

“She’s doing quite well, full of energy. Spunky – A typical yearling.”

“She just needs a lot of love, and some training.” Adds Miller.

Little Red won’t be adopted to just anyone.

Owners must have references, and her new home will be inspected.

If you’re interested in adopting Little Red, or one of her friends, you’ll find details and contact information at: wwwlklamathlargeanimals.org – or, you can call: (541) 891-6420.
