Medford, Ore. — Traffic on I-5 near Rogue River came to a crawl Monday afternoon after a head on collision involving a semi-truck.
The crash happened just after noon near mile marker 46.
The driver of the semi truck was driving northbound in the right hand lane of I-5.
As the road curved, he continued going straight, clipping the side of one vehicle, crossing the median, and hitting another smaller car head on.
Three occupants in that car and the semi-truck driver were taken to the hospital. Police say they are expected to be “ok”.
While the official cause hasn’t been released police say it is likely fatigue related.
