In-N-Out submits application for Medford location

Medford, Ore. — In-N-Out is one step closer to opening a Medford restaurant.

The chain submitted a pre-application to the city in October. Now, they’ve submitted an electronic application in hopes of building their first Oregon restaurant at the corner of Crater Lake Highway and Highway 99.

As burger lovers rejoice the president of Medford’s Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Brad Hicks, said the new restaurant would bring more than just delicious patties.

“I think it’s such an iconic name and destination when it comes to burger joints that it will draw people from all over the region,” he said.

The planning department can’t talk about the specifics of In-N-Out’s application but they said if it is approved the next step would be a public hearing. If everything keeps moving forward from here the department said the company could start building as soon as this summer.
