JCSO says they’re close to making arrest in Stephanie Warner’s disappearance

Ruch, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office believes it is closer than ever to making an arrest in a missing woman’s case.

Stephanie Warner from Ruch was last seen walking in the 2013 Ashland 4th of July parade.

Detective Eric Henderson says he has received dozens of new tips in this case ever since our story aired last week.

Most of the tips focus on Lennie Ames, Warner’s boyfriend.

Detective Henderson then named Ames as the only suspect in the case.

He was the last person to see warner back in 2013 and now Henderson says he is in Georgia.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is not going to be going to Georgia in the event that a warrant is issued for Lennie Ames arrest in this case, theres law enforcement agencies out there that actually will be utilized to find him.”

Henderson says they are still putting together crucial pieces in this case and cannot go get Ames until they have a warrant for his arrest.

The latest information has also captured the attention of Dateline’s “Missing in America.”
