Trying to reach anyone at the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office today proved to be difficult. Virtually unsuccessful. It’s a new reality for county residents who voted down a proposed property tax levy to support a broke criminal justice system. This is what the sheriff’s office looked like today and is what can be expected from now on unless funding is increased.
