Man arrested for assault in Grants Pass

Grants Pass, Ore. — One man is behind bars and a teenager is in juvenile detention after a shots fired incident in Grants Pass.

Police were called to the 200 block of Redwood Highway Monday where a man was bleeding from the face.

He said he’d been struck in the face and shot at although the bullet didn’t hit anyone.

While searching for the suspects vehicle officers located and arrested 26 year old Martin Olilla (pictured here) without incident.

They say a 17 year old female passenger was missing out of California and in Possession of Methamphetamine. She’s now in the Jackson County Juvenile Justice Center.

Olilla is facing multiple charges including Assault l, Use of Firearm and Felon in Possession of a Weapon. He is currently lodged at the Josephine County Jail.

The male victim suffered an injury to his left side and loss of his left eye.
