New evacuation orders for Happy Camp Complex fires

Siskiyou County, — The Siskiyou County Sheriff issued a new mandatory evacuation order for the Happy Camp Complex fires in Northern California.

There’s been an increase of fire activity on the on the north side of the fire. All residents in the areas of Mill Creek Road, five miles east of Scott River Road need to evacuate now.

They’re being told to evacuate to the Karuk Tribal Community Center in Happy Camp and the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds.

The Happy Camp Complex is nearly 100,000 acres and while the fire is grows so does containment.

The ‘Kemper Fire’ within the complex is 100% contained and overall the complex is 30% contained.
