Medford, Ore. — Medford police conducted a greenway enforcement operation on Wednesday evening through early Thursday morning.
Officials say 28 people were cited for Prohibited Camping and one was arrested on a warrant. MPD says they took some community outreach representatives with them, who offered services to everyone they came into contact with. Crews will spend the majority of Thursday cleaning up junk left behind.
This operation comes after ten separate suspicious fires have been started along the Bear Creek Greenway.
