Medford, Ore. – A Medford woman turned 103-years-old on Wednesday. Miss Agnes Simmons has been living at Brookdale Retirement Living since 2012 and she spent her special day is celebrating with family and friends.
Agnes was born in 1913 in California. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life.
Agnes has three kids, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
When what her secret to a long live was, she replied, “Taking care of yourself, being blessed, living one day at a time and taking one day at a time.”
She is described by other residents at Brookdale Living as sweet and kind.
Agnes also wanted any birthday gifts sent to her donated to the Salvation Army. Happy birthday, Agnes!
