Ashland, Ore. — The City of Ashland is issuing a warning after several recent mountain lion sightings.
In a press release Monday, April 13th, the city says there have been multiple reports in and around Lithia Park.
The mountain lion has been reported in areas where deer frequent.
Now, there has never been a reported mountain lion attacking a human in Oregon, but the city says if you encounter a mountain lion: stay calm, pick up any small children, and make yourself appear larger.
