The Dollar GMC building at the corner of West 8th and Riverside in Medford could soon have a new purpose.
Medford Urban Renewal Agency, or MURA, will hold a public meeting on Thursday, to vote on spending $525,000 for the 1.33 acre property.
The lot would add nearly 100 parking spaces for students attending school downtown, and officials would like it to be open to the public as well.
The meeting starts at 6 P.M. this Thursday, at City Hall.
