Nicholson Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ To Murder Charges

A suspect accused of shooting and killing a man, and shooting a woman in the face Easter Sunday says he’s ‘not guilty’.

27 year old Leland Thomas Nicholson was arraigned today…

“I’ll just plead ‘not guilty’ right now.” Nicholson plead to Judge Roxanne Osborne, who responded: “Okay, not guilty plea is received.”

Nicholson was arraigned on murder charges in connection with the death of 28 year old Terry Entriken.

The shooting took place on a rainy Easter Sunday night at an apartment complex on Washburn Way.

Nicholson is also accused of shooting 36 year old Vanessa Alexander in the face, she’s still recovering from her injuries.

Nicholson says he wants to represent himself at trial…

“Mister Foltyn will be appointed to act…’ ‘No, thank you – you know, he dump-trucked me when I was 14 years old – and I don’t want that guy nowhere near my case.”

Judge Osborne still appointed the attorney to act as Nicholson’s advisor.

If convicted, Nicholson could face life in prison, with a minimum 25 year sentence.

Nicholson is being held without bail. He’s scheduled to appear in court next Monday before Judge Rodger Isaacson.
