Portland, Ore. — Gunfire Wednesday afternoon near a Portland high school and when it was over a Portland Police Officer was wounded and a suspect dead.
It all started around 4pm, not long after school let out for the day at Wilson High School.
Officers were investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle when there was some sort of confrontation with a suspect.
That suspect is dead and the officer was injured and rushed to OHSU.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
