Oregon Institutes Body Piercing Exam

The first-ever body piercing exam has been created by the Oregon Health Licensing Agency.

The agency has instituted a written and practical examination, mandatory for both new applicants entering the body piercing field, as well as current practitioners.

Applicants for body piercing must have completed 1150 hours of instruction as well as 400 body piercing procedures, all under supervision of an experienced practitioner.
