Peep show takes center stage

(WBAL) It’s time again for the marshmallow madness that is the annual Peep Show at the Maryland’s Carroll County Arts Center.

“Every year, it amazes me, the creativity, the generosity and the engineering skills of Carroll County residents,” said Sandy Oxx, of the Carroll Arts Council.

The show features 150 different entries from individuals, groups and local schools.

“There are about 50 different themed Peeps on there, different professions, different lifestyles,” Oxx said.

Most of the entries, like Curious George, are just for fun, but some of the entries make “Peep”-litical statements.

“There’s a pair of diagrams by Joyce and Harvey Mollard that are called ‘Cuba Before and After the U.S. Embargo.’ It’s got great detail,” Oxx said.
