The cost of attending one of Oregon’s seven Public Universities is about to go up.
The State Board of Higher Education will vote on a proposed tuition increase this Friday.
If the proposed increase passes, tuition rates would raise an average of six percent.
However, the all of the State Universities have said they would off-set the tuition hike by reducing other fees such as health insurance.
