Rogue RIver Teens Face Felony Charges For Mail Theft

Two rogue river teens could be facing federal charges after being arrested for mail theft.

19 year old Jacob Loper, and a 17 year old boy, both from rogue river, are facing multiple felony charges for theft.

The two suspects were arrested for stealing mail from boxes on east evans creek road. After seperate interviews they teens confessed to information thatlinks them to a series of mail and package thefts around christmas time as well. One package contained a ruby and gold ring that was tracked to a pawn shop in Grants Pass. Unfortunately the ring had already been sold and melted down.

Officials say the suspects may be charged with federal as wellasw the felony charges they have already amassed forallegedly stealing u.s. mail.
