The contract has been approved, and the next step in the Lithia Plaza redesign will begin in downtown Ashland soon.
The Ashland City Council is giving the Ausland Group the green light, approving a nearly $140,000 contract on Tuesday.
Ausland will install low concrete walls, lights, and other landscaping-related features to the plaza area.
The work will begin in the next couple of weeks, and is expected to be completed by late March.
