Anew source will soon be bringing water to Shady Cove residents and providing protection against wildfires.
The new system takes water directly from the Rogue River, treats it and distributes it to the downtown area.
The 500-thousand gallon tank will provide nearly 80 residents in the Shady Cove mobile home park with access to the river water.
It will also be used in fire hydrants.
Completion of the project is expected in the next couple of weeks.
