Reedsport, Ore. — Highway 38 is back open east of Reedsport, after a semi-truck crashed and ended up dangling off the Scottsburg Bridge.
According to Oregon State Police, the truck hit the guard rail, sending part of it and its load sailing, the truck and trailer were partially hanging over the Umpqua River. The driver, Brian Neeley, was cited by OSP for careless driving and failing to drive within a lane.
