Second arson under investigation at Hidden Valley HS

NEW HIDDEN VALLEY PIC 1Grants Pass, Ore. — Oregon State Police and the State Fire Marshall’s office are investigating a second arson at Hidden Valley High School.

Around 9:30 Friday night, fire crews were called to the campus on the 600 block of Murphy Creek road in Grants Pass. When they arrived on scene, the building was completely engulfed in flames.

Crews were able to knock down the fire, but they say the building is a total loss.

This is the second arson under investigation at Hidden Valley High School. Officials with Rural Metro Fire say another nearby building was burned down in February. Both investigations are ongoing.
