Selma home completely destroyed in fire

Selma, Ore. — A Selma family is without a home, after their house went up in flames on Saturday night.

The Illinois Valley Fire Department and Rural Metro Fire crews responded to the 200 block of Hogue drive just after 7 PM for the reported structure fire. When they arrived, the house was completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters said the structure included a shop, single family home  as well as a small cabin.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and Red Cross is assisting the residents. No injuries have been reported. The cause the first is under investigation.
