Shenanigans Irish Pub Liquor License Hearing Pushed Back

It was a last-minute reprieve for Shenanigans Irish Pub in Medford.

The hearing that could have determined whether the bar would lose or keep its liquor license was pushed back, from February 28th to June 12th.

Because it takes roughly 6-weeks for a ruling, Shenanigans owner, Bruce Brown will not know until August whether he will keep or have to give-up his liquor license.

Either way Brown said he plans to sell. With the hearing now scheduled for June, Brown will have more time to secure a buyer.

He said while there is a possibility that the bar could close, it’s not likely because he believes someone will buy the space.

The hearing comes on the heels of numerous citations for fights, DUII and other violations.
