This evening the wandering wolf, OR-7, is retracing his steps through Northern California- and could return to Oregon.
Satellite tracking through a transmitter collar on OR-7 shows that today the nearly 3-year-old male was in Northeast Siskiyou County, about 10 miles from the Oregon border.
He crossed from Oregon into California December 28th looking for a mate.
