Skate park rolls into Cave Junction

Cave Junction, Ore. — After 20 years, and several past attempts, Cave Junction is finally finishing a skate park. The city set apart the land 20 years ago. Now, in about 2 weeks, the ten thousand square foot park will open. It’s complete with ramps and a sculpture. The park still needs volunteers to finish the last of the cement work.

Tony Hawk even had a hand in the park. He donated $5,000 dollars to help build it. The project’s total cost is between $90,000 and $100,000 dollars.
