Two people were injured when a small airplane crashed in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation AreaSunday afternoon.
The accident happened just after 2 west of Lakeside in Coos County near Winchester Bay.
Two people were taken to an area hospital, thier conditions are unknown but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Department would not comment on why the plane crashed.
An investigation is currently underway.
