Vandalism of Logging Equipment Slows Ashland Watershed Project

A logging project in the Ashland Watershed has been slowed down, after crews come back to find their equipment vandalized.

Reports say equipment was marked with graffiti, such as “kill cops, not trees,” and fuel in a log loader was contaminated when crews returned to work on Monday.

Officials say the vandalism happened sometime between Friday night and 4 A.M. on Monday morning.

If you have any information regarding this case, you are asked to call the Sheriff’s department at (541) 774-6800.
