Woman arrested after stabbing at Pear Blossom Park

Medford, Ore. — A stabbing at Pear Blossom Park in the Lithia Commons sends a man to the hospital and lands a woman in jail.

Medford police say 25 year old Heather Everman stabbed a man in the back last night. His injuries are not expected to be life threatening but the attack was apparently unprovoked, according to police there has been an increase in transient activity in the park so they are stepping up patrols. Everman is in the Jackson County jail facing charges of 2nd degree assault.
