Man arrested after “fighting” with a coffee dispensing machine

0511 Mark C. HowsmonRogue River, Ore. – Police responded to reports of a man in a Rogue River convenience store involved in what officers called a “physical fight” with a coffee dispensing machine.

According to the Rogue River Police Department, a man was reportedly acting strangely and “fighting” with a coffee machine on Wednesday morning inside the Circle K located on Pine Street.

Police made contact with the subject, identified as 51-year-old Albuquerque, New Mexico resident Mark. C. Howsmon. Officers said Howsmon was found to have a state-wide felony warrant out for his arrest.

Howsmon was taken into custody and transported to the Jackson County Jail where he was booked on the warrant. His vehicle was also impounded.
