Man arrested for hit and run

0525 Kevin LacerMedford, Ore. – A man is behind bars after police said he intentionally struck a woman with his car after a dispute over a parking space.

Medford Police said 61-year-old Keven Lacer accused the woman of stealing his parking spot as she was walking into the WinCo Foods supermarket in Medford. He then hit her with his car, knocking her to the ground. Lacer fled the scene.

Police said the woman went to the hospital with minor injuries.

Using witness reports and surveillance footage, officers were able to find Lacer at a residence in the 800 block of West Stewart where he was arrested for assault and hit and run.

According to Medford Police, Lacer was arrested back in 2015 for possession of methamphetamine and exposing himself to officers during a disturbance call.
