Medford car wash raises money for families of UCC victims

CAR WASH Medford, Ore. — Volunteers in Medford raised $1,250 this weekend for family members of those killed in the UCC shooting.

Organizer David Stepp said he knew he needed to do something for our neighbors in Roseburg because they would do the same for us. So they brought out the buckets and hoses and held a car wash at Aaron’s Sales and Lease in downtown Medford Sunday. He said some people who came through to get their cars washed even ended up staying to help out.

“We can all be from different races or religions and we can all still come together to help one cause it says something about the American people,” Stepp said. “It says something about the community that we live in.”

Drivers even stopped on North Riverside to give money. Some donated $50 and $100. All of the money raised will go to family members of UCC victims.
