Medford, Ore. — A Washington State man charged with Medford’s first murder in two years makes his first appearance in court. Ruben Marmolejo is accused of murder and conspiring to commit murder.
Marmolejo and Shane Zornes are accused of shooting 27-year old Isaac Deleon early Sunday morning in downtown Medford. Police say Marmolejo told Zornes to shoot Deleon.
Thursday, Judge Lorenzo Mejia ordered Marmolejo to be held without bail. He’s scheduled to be back in court January 4th.
If convicted on the murder charge he faces life in prison.
