Central Point, Ore., — The city of Central Point did some good deeds this weekend.
The “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” program encourages people to go out and help others.
The idea is to help neighbors with projects that they might not be able to do themselves, like mowing lawns or pulling weeds.
People were then encouraged to end the afternoon in their neighborhood with block parties.
