NICU Harvest Festival

nicuMedford, Ore., — For the last 25 years, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has brought together previous NICU patients and their nurses.

Today at the hospital’s harvest festival, parents and kids had lots of fun with games, prizes, face painting and food.

All part of the plan to reunite children who were once in the hospital’s full time care.

“She can do anything and everything any other 4 year old can do, and she’s in school and is really excited to be here to have some cupcakes.” said Melanie Parks.

“Seeing the people who helped me be here right now.” said Caiden Clark.

The hospital’s NICU sees around 350 patients per year.

And hundreds of families showed up with their now healthy kids, thanks to the NICU care.
