Open burning suspended in Ashland

ASHLAND, Ore. – Open burning in the City of Ashland has been suspended due to warm and dry weather conditions.

Ashland Fire and Rescue said all open burn permits are suspended as of May 7. The suspension will remain in effect unless there is significant rainfall before the start of fire season. Any reactivation of permits within that timeframe will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
