Shady Cove, Ore. — A man struck by a car has died on Highway 62 in Shady Cove.
It happened just after 7:00 near Hudspeth lane.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating just what took place when a pickup truck collided with an elderly man.
“Units responded from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department to this location where it was found a pedestrian had been struck by a motor vehicle and subsequently ended in a fatality,” said Sgt. James Kocina.
The identity of the man who was struck has not been released. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
