Police searching for suspect involved in a burglary that turned violent

0414 talent suspectsTalent, Ore. — Talent Police say officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home on the 100 block of 3rd Street in Talent on the 23rd of February.

The residents say two house guests had been caught stealing, and when they were confronted, the argument turned violent.

As the suspects were trying to leave, one of them hit a female resident with his car and fired two rounds from a handgun at her.

On Wednesday, after taking the case to a grand jury, one of the suspects, 40-year-old Yreka man Philip Muradanes is facing several charges, including attempted murder. Muradanes was already incarcerated in California on separate charges.

Police are still looking for the other suspect, 33-year-old Jeremy Benjamin Bush. He was indicted on Wednesday on charges of burglary and theft.
