Portland police arrest 26 people after anti-Trump protest

Portland, Ore. – Portland police have arrested 26 people after Thursday night’s riots. 25 of them were booked into the Multnomah County Jail, one person was detained and released.

Officers have released a photo collage of the 19 available booking photos. Most of the arrests were for allegations of disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.

Portland NBC affiliate KGW reports it was the third straight night of protests in opposition to the results of the presidential election. The crowd remained mostly peaceful until anarchist group began to rally at Holladay City Park.

Multiple acts of vandalism took place where protesters damaged buildings and vehicles.

“They started throwing bricks through windshields. The cars are totaled,” a worker told KGW. “I believe in peaceful protest but this is ridiculous. We’re a nation that needs to come together and heal.”

19-year-old Mikaylah Marie Walper – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
18-year-old Vincenzo Damon Milione – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
18-year-old Jeffrey Duane Kamper – Interfering with a Peace Officer
21-year-old Daniel Gomez – Interfering with a Peace Officer

A 16-year-old male was detained and released.
