Klamath Falls, Ore. – A Klamath Falls teen is charged with first and second degree arson following a weekend fire.
Fire crews were called out to a structure fire just before 7 Saturday morning on Valleywood Drive. Firefighters says they found evidence at the scene that led them to call police. That evidence led police to develop a 13-year-old juvenile as a suspect.
Investigators say the fire caused about $20,000 in damage to the home. The 13-year-old suspect was also linked to damage to a yard, and an A.T.V. trailer about a block away.
The 13-year-old boy was taken to Klamath County Juvenile Detention.
