Community rallies behind local store

gpgroceryGrants Pass, Ore, – Winco’s opening in Grants Pass this year is taking a toll on a locally owned business, costing them about 25 percent of their business. Community members are now working to help them.

For the past 25 years Grant Pass Grocery Outlet’s owners Glen and Leslie Parks say they’ve been giving back to many organizations in the city.

Since Winco opened across the street in late January their business has taken a hit. Now a recent Facebook post caused the community to rally behind them.

The post, which asks community members to support grocery outlet, has been shared more then 150 times.
