Firefighter finds newborn left in cold

NC_babyfound1230_700x394Yakima, Wash. — (KNDO) A firefighter in Yakima, Washington saved a life on Christmas Eve, but it wasn’t from a burning building, she found a baby left in the cold outside fire station 92 on Tieton Drive.

The fire department is considered a “safe haven” a place someone can bring and give away a new born baby, however supposed to ring the station door bell and hand the child to a firefighter or volunteer.
