Raising minimum wage in Oregon may be on ballot next November

320x180_50520C00-XZASAOre. — Raising the statewide minimum wage may be on the ballot next November.

The Raise the Wage coalition announced the filing Monday.

The ballot measure would raise the minimum wage to 13 dollars and 50 cents an hour and allow local governments to raise it even higher.

Raise the Wage says the current minimum wage of 9 dollars and 25 cents an hour is not enough to live on.
