Two Oregon natives invent year-round outdoor lighting

Ore. — Tired of stringing up Christmas lights year after year.

Well, two Oregon natives have come up with a solution!

They are called Everlights.

Ross Harke and Darren Taylor developed the new LED’s that you can leave up year round.

Their small size and the way they attach onto the eaves disguises them by day.

At night you can turn them on to almost any color you want using a smartphone app.

The two went public with the lights with a crowd funding campaign and they shattered their month goal of 20 thousand dollars in one day.

A look at the pledges this morning puts them near 70 grand.

Ginther says they haven’t decided on a price yet.
