Harbor, Ore. — Highway 101 is closed in Harbor, after a sink hole completely took out the road.

On Thursday, a good portion of the road gave way near mile post 358, and then another sink hole opened up across the street on Shopping Center avenue.

The activity is forcing the Oregon Department of Transportation to put a detour in place.

The detour will be open at 9 o’clock Thursday night– drivers in the area are asked to slow down and proceed with caution.
