Survivors of suicide loss to join together in Medford

Medford, Ore. — An organization that helps people deal with loss is hosting an event this weekend. Saturday, marks International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. Events will be taking place all around the globe to provide comfort and healing to those whose lives have been impacted by suicide.

“Each time you do this it gives you a chance to come together with a group and that means a larger experience than just your own and share with that commonality,” Michael Rhoades of WinterSpring says.

The event is taking place Saturday at Jackson County Health and Human services in Medford from 10 am to 12:30. Doors open at 9:30 and refreshments will be served. For more information call (541) 858-8170.
