Taco truck crash

Medford, Ore., — A car crash in Medford leaves one person injured and another in police custody.

Medford Police say a driver without a license went through a red light at Eighth and Riverside, where he crashed into a Medford Water Commission truck.

He then veered onto the property of a taco truck and struck a parked car.

“Knocked that truck into the post on the corner here, and the vehicle that ran the red light continued through the intersection, took out a chunk of property here that belongs to the taco truck, into this table and into a parked car.” said Medford Police Corporal Trevor Arnold.

The driver of the Water Commission truck was taken to the hospital, his injuries are unknown.

The driver of the car was taken into custody, at this time he’s charged with reckless driving, but police say they believe he may have been high on drugs.
