The Snow Queen

11-27-playMedford, Ore., — The Collaborative Theater Project in Medford is set to open a new production of “The Snow Queen” in just a few days at the Medford Center.

The Snow Queen is based on Hans Christian Andersen’s 1844 fairytale about a young girl’s quest to save her best friend from an evil snow queen.

The tale formed the basis of Disney’s Frozen, now the theater is bringing the tale to Medford, with a twist.

“It’s a steam punk style, so it’s fun, it’s a pop rock musical. We wanted something new, and interesting, a lot of Christmas shows are done repeatedly and this is a brand new show.” said Director,  Susan Aversa-Orrego.

The show opens on December 1st and runs the entire month, and is great for the whole family to enjoy.
