Two men arrested for series of Medford burglaries

Medford, Ore. – Two men linked to a series of burglaries, including the theft of an estimated $56,000 worth of tools from Capsey Automotive, were arrested on Wednesday.

Medford Police say that the men are suspected of burglarizing Real Performance Auto and ZZ Electric on the night of December 31st. The loss of the two businesses was over $48,000.

MPD says Capsey Automotive was burglarized on the night of March 1st, resulting in a loss of over $56,000.

Following a lead on the Capsey Automotive burglary, detectives say they identified 27-year-old Daniel Silva-Ledezma as a possible suspect.

On April 4th, detectives and members of the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team served a search warrant at Silva-Ledezma’s residence, located on the 1100 block of Mt. Pitt Street in Medford.

Officers say they found a substantial amount of stolen items at the residence, some of which were buried in a large hole on the property. They also found 21-year-old Julian Brice McIntosh at the residence, an additional suspect in the Capsey Automotive burglary case.

According to police, additional theft cases are being investigated because of the numerous items recovered, which include a firearm and tools.

The two suspects are now in the Jackson County Jail on charges of aggravated theft, theft in the first degree, and three counts of burglary in the second degree.
