Utah — (KSL) The search for five people still missing after being caught in a flash flood near Hildale, Utah on Monday continues.

One of the five is a woman, while the other four are children, authorities said.

Eight more members of the same family were killed when flood waters overtook their vehicles.

The National Weather Service issued another flood warning in the area where heavy rains caused Short Creek to overflow its banks. An 80 percent chance of moderate to heavy rain expected throughout the day could cause more problems.

Six of the deceased were found in Utah and two in Arizona, almost two miles downstream, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
